Altitude: 220-235 meters above sea level
Terroir: Very deep silty and clayey soil, with nodules of iron and manganese, and ancient gravel deposits. The substrate belongs to the Inferior "Emiliano-Romagnolo" Synthem: clayey silt with yellow-ochraceous streaks of oxidation, frequent levels rich in organic matter and presence of fossils (Pleistocene, 2millions-250.000 years ago).
