Altitude: 284-308 meters above sea level
Terroir: Very deep soil with a silty and clayey or purely clayey texture, strongly calcareous and moderately alkaline, with a calcium carbonate rich horizon. The substrate is composed of fossil dark grey clayey marls from the "Termina" Formation (Miocene-Tortonian period, 7-11 millions of years ago).
