Guardasone/Vigna del Tenore
Age of the vineyard: 56 years
Position: On the East side of the Guardasone hill, part of the old property of the famous opera singer Raimondi, after whom the vineyard is named.
Exposure: South-East
Altitude: 250-270 meters above sea level
Terroir: Mainly sandy and mineral soil, distinguished by a reddish color and a moderate depth with a gravel skeleton. The substrat is made of clayey dark-grey fossil marls from the "Termina" geological formation (Miocene- Tortonian period, 7-11 millions of years ago), as in the near vineyard of San Lorenzo.
