“OINOE-the city of wine” is nestled on the very first hills overlooking the province of Parma (Guardasone di Traversetolo). This territory is so much centered on food and wine excellences to be known as “food valley”.
The winery is surrounded by 50 hectares of land, 23 of which are planted with vineyards.
Among the cultivated varieties we grow autoctonous vines, such as Lambrusco Maestri, and traditional grapes of historical presence in Parma, such as Malvasia di Candia Aromatica, Barbera and Bonarda. Beside these, other non-local grapes are a consequence of the long and important French domination upon our lands dating back to the 19th century: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay are now listed among our certified local varieties because of their long-standing presence and cultivation on our hills. Our particular terroir (geological texture) and a highly favorable climate allow the production of wine from all these different varietals with surprising results.
Very special attention is paid to every single step of the production cycle, from the soil preparation to the pruning of the vines and the hand-harvesting of the grapes into small crates which preserves the integrity of the clusters. Our winery has just been awarded the SQNPI certification for integrated sustainable agriculture, which implies our continuous commitment towards the safeguarding and improving fertility of the soil, avoiding erosion and compaction and at the same time preserving the plants and fauna in the vineyards.
The modern techniques that we adopt throughout the processing of wines allow us to maintain intact all the natural characteristics, distinctive aromas and flavors of the different varietals we grow.

Oinoe is a family-owned winery: the Cerioli family has been able to create a wine-centered microcosm on the hill of Guardasone. The strong passion for this product is thus combined with the culture of work and the long-standing experience representing the biggest legacy of the family, handed down from generation to generation.
The arrival of Alex Cerioli in 2013 and his new approach to the activity have allowed the winery to grow in quantity but most of all in quality, adding value to the characteristics and the products of the territory, with a new and special focus on innovation.
The use of modern technologies and innovative processing techniques act as a support for an activity that wants to maintain its own artisanal nature and dimension, confirming quality as the staple of its production.
Starting from the few thousand bottles produced at the very beginning, the winery has now reached the 170.000 bottles with the 2019 vintage, and it is ready to grow even futher thanks to the newly planted vines.
Our vineyards are all Guyot trained and they include many grape varieties, such as Malvasia, Moscato, Barbera, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Merlot, Cabernet and Lambrusco. They are harmoniously distributed around the hill of Guardasone and their cultivation is carried on through the principles of integrated agriculture, which allows to produce precious and unique wines.
